The Austral Balcony Line is designed to be fixed below or near the hight of a balcony railing so that all your clothes drying is out of sight of those looking in. The Balcony Line is usually fixed to a wall or balustrade.
The Austral Balcony Line has safety in mind with its cords travelling from top to bottom when the Balcony Line is in the closed position. This prevents the clothesline behaving like a ladder to climb so that toddlers cannot climb it.
Heavy duty and steel in construction including the hinges and the frame corners, the Balcony line has Australs patented levered line tension lock enabling tensioning of the quality polycord easy and in seconds.
The Austral Balcony Line lifts up to use and closes down to put away. Available in four colours.

The fixing height of the Balony Line must be at 975mm from the floor if you are putting it on a balcony. If your not putting it on a balcony such as an outer wall on a first floor home then you can use the Austral Balcony Line at whatever height you desire.
The fixing dimensions comply in Australia and New Zealand to building regulations 1992 (Acceptable solution F4/AS1) where the clothesline must have a non climbable element between 150mm and 750mm.
