The retractaway 50 clothesline is provided for those people who absolutely need to span more than 8 meters. For example, to replace an existing but now defunct old retractable clothesline.
For this reason the Austral clothesline manufacturers modified the Austral retractaway 40 to include an extra 2 meters of length. The retractaway 40 is designed to be used for only 8 meters and not 10. For this reason, Austral clotheshoists will not give a warranty. Austral obviously beleive that the clothesline is capable of doing the job satisfactorily but cannot guarantee this. For this reason warranty is negated. If you order one of these clotheslines it will come in a retractaway 40 box as its actually a retractaway 40 modified to provide those who really need more than 8 meters.

You should only buy this clothesline if you are replacing an existing line that extends more than 8 meters.
