Step 1
Hold one of the wall brackets to the wall in the position required and at a height approximately equal to the users head height. Ensure the bracket is vertically level and mark the top and bottom and drill positions through the slot holes of the bracket. Measure 2320mm horizontally from each mark made and mark wall again. Drill four holes. Attach both brackets to the wall.
Step 2
Slide the line tension lock down one of the tubular sections. Secure the tubular section and an inside flat washer to the centre of the bracket using the top bolt holes of the bracket, 40mm bolts & locknut. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN!
Step 3
Connect braces to the outside of the wall bracket, using the bottom holes of the bracket, a flat washer & 60 mm bolts, then place a nylon spacer over bolt in the centre of the bracket and fix with a locknut. Note: each brace has two sets of screws along the length of it-ensure the set screw farthest from the bracket is on the bottom or facing down. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN!
Step 4
Slide catch for braces down each brace with the bolt hole in the catch at the top side of the brace and to the front. Place a 60mm bolt through the hole in the catch, fit a nylon washer over the bolt. Push the rest of the bolt through the tubuler section and fit one locknut. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN!
Step 5
Fit front bar to the tubular sections and make sure each side is fitted fully in as far as they go.
Step 6
Thread the clothes line cord starting at the hole nearest the bracket on the tubular section with the line tension lock. Before the line goes through the last hole, fit the cord tidy to the line and then push through the hole. Tie cord over the top of the frame at the last hole, cut as required and push cut end back through the cord tidy. One length at a time pull cord taut working from back to front, thread through the line tension lock and lock down. Cut the line with approx 6 inches to spare, fit cord knob, tie a knot in cord and pull knob down over the knot. Fit plastic caps.

Select site and dig two holes 2360 mm apart centre to centre, or 2400mm for the newer Addaline 35.( some fold downs have a shorter width. Just measure your leg kit tie bar to find the distance needed). The holes should be 300mm in diameter and 500mm deep.
After assembling the clothes line as a wall mount. Lay the rear tie bar flat on the ground. Place each leg flat on the ground at the ends of the rear tie bar and bolt the wall mount to the legs and rear tie bar using 6mm x 80mm bplts, washer & nut through the top hole of the wall bracket. top hole of leg and the tie bar. Use the 6mm x 60mm bolt, washer &nut through the bottom slot of the wall mount bracket and leg.
Fit all the plastic ends to legs and brace. Position clothes line legs in the pre dug holes at a height such that the top pivot bolt is at users head height. Add dry mix of concrete.( e.g. 4 gravel, 2 sand, 1 cement) Ensure the legs are perpendicular and add a bucket of water. Leave clothes line in folded position for 48 hrs before using.

Step 1

Drill four holes. Attach both brackets to the wall. With these updated models the brackets now come with the arm assembly fully assembled. So when you attach the bracket, attach the whole assembly with it.

Fit front bar to the tubular sections and make sure each side is fitted fully in as far as they go.
Step 3
Thread the clothes line cord starting at the hole nearest the bracket on the tubular section with the line tension lock. Before the line goes through the last hole, fit the cord tidy to the line and then push through the hole. Tie cord over the top of the frame at the last hole, cut as required and push cut end back through the cord tidy. This video is now out of date and we are making a new video for the updated partially assembled models. If you have a newer model, then the distance apart from bracket to bracket is 2400mm center to center, not 2360mm as mentioned unless you have an older model. This video features the older non partially assembled models but still is a good guide for you to get a good idea on how to install yourself. Its also good for those of you who have an older model or for those of you who disasembled your clothesline and need to know how it all goes back together.
